General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • Order articles by an action date

I am wanting to publish a list of upcoming events ordered by their action date, not their publication date. I don't think the "Start Featured" date is what I am looking for. Am I wrong, or is there another way to achieve the ordering that I want?
